Export for Trello (“the Extension”) is a Chrome extension published by Alpaca Extensions that exports your Trello boards to Excel, CSV, PDF, JSON, Markdown and Word files.
Summary. The Extension has no backend server. Your Trello data is read directly by your browser from Trello’s API and turned into a file on your own device. We never receive, store or transmit your Trello data.
When you export a board, the Extension requests that board’s data — cards, lists, labels,
members, due dates, descriptions, checklists and, in the Pro version, comments, attachment
names/links and custom fields — directly from Trello’s API (api.trello.com) using
your own authorization. That data is processed entirely in your browser and
written to a file you download. It is never sent to the developer or to any third party.
To read your boards you authorize the Extension through Trello’s own consent screen. Trello
returns an access token, which is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s
storage API. The token is only ever sent to Trello (api.trello.com).
You can delete it at any time by clicking “Disconnect” in the Extension, or by uninstalling the
Extension.
Payments for the Pro version are processed by ExtensionPay (ExtPay) and Stripe. If you buy Pro, they collect and process your email address and payment details under their own privacy policies. The Extension only receives a “paid / not paid” status. We never see or store your payment details.

The Extension’s handling of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used solely to provide the export feature the user explicitly requests, and is never transferred to the developer or third parties.
Because the Extension stores nothing outside your device, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Uninstalling the Extension removes the locally stored token.
The Extension is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
